The Fulbright program is a prestigious international exchange opportunity supported by the U.S. government since 1946. It enables students from the U.S. and from abroad in over 160 countries to promote cultural understanding through exchange activities like teaching, study and research. 

Stony Brook has had the opportunity to host students from a variety of countries who have received Fulbright awards to study or conduct research in the U.S. Below you will find information for prospective Fulbright students from overseas and for faculty/staff who have been contacted about hosting a Fulbright student.
